Why and How to Make Weed Brownies at Home?
Baking weed brownies at home is a great way to enjoy the benefits of cannabis without spending a lot of money. Not only are homemade edibles more cost-effective than buying from dispensaries, but they also allow you to properly dose your edible and control the amount of THC or CBD that you consume.
With store-bought edibles, it can be difficult to know exactly how much THC or CBD is in each serving, making it difficult for users to find their ideal dosage. By learning how to make weed brownies at home, users can adjust their recipes as needed until they get just the right amount of cannabinoids in each serving. Giving you the ability to eat more brownies when you want.
How Much Weed Do You Need For Brownies?
The amount of weed you need for brownies really depends on how potent you want them to be. If you're looking to make some really strong brownies, you'll need to use a lot more weed than if you're just trying to make some that are mildly potent.
There are a few things to keep in mind when deciding how much weed to use for your brownies. The first is the strength of the weed itself. If you're using strong weed, you won't need to use as much as if you're using weak weed. The second is the amount of people you're making the brownies for. If you're only making them for yourself, you won't need to use as much weed as if you're making them for a group of people.
The best way to figure out how much weed you need for your brownies is to experiment a little bit. Start with a small amount of weed and see how it affects the taste and potency of your brownies. Then, increase the amount of weed until you get the desired results.
Decarbing Your Weed for Pot Brownies
Decarboxylation is an essential step when it comes to making pot brownies and other edibles. This process activates the cannabinoids in cannabis, allowing them to be absorbed by the body when consumed.
Without decarboxylation, users may not get the desired effects from their edibles as much of the THC or CBD will remain inactive. Decarbing your cannabis flower prior to using it in a recipe ensures that you are getting all of the benefits that your cannabis has to offer.
Once you have the decarboxylated cannabis you can make cannabis butter, cannabis oil, or even cannabis tinctures for making cannabis edibles from home. make sure you use regular butter when infusing it with cannabis, check out our cannabutter recipe here

Baking powder is an important ingredient in making weed brownies. It helps the brownies rise and become fluffy when baked so they taste delicious.
Oil or Butter?
The choice of oil or butter when baking weed brownies can have a significant impact on the texture, taste, and strength of the final edibles. When making weed brownies, the choice between using butter or oil often comes down to personal preference.
Cannabis-infused butter provides a rich, creamy flavor while cannabis oil is lighter and adds moisture without overwhelming flavors. If you are looking for an intense cannabis experience, then using cannabutter will give you the most potent results.

The Ultimate Weed Brownies Recipe with Chocolate Chips
Ingredients
3/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
2/3 Cup Cocoa Powder, sifted
1/2 Cup Powdered sugar, sifted * for extra potency substitute with cannabis infused sugar
1 1/2 Cups Granulated Sugar or brown sugar
1/2 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
2 Tablespoons Water
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Cannabis Butter, soft
Cooking Spray
Mixing Bowl, 1 large 1 medium
*Optional Chopped Nuts of your choice
* Substitute cannabutter for canna coconut oil
Instructions
First, preheat the oven to 325 degrees F, and using cooking spray, lightly spray an 8"x8" baking pan and line it with parchment paper and then spray the paper.
Next, in a medium size bowl mix the dry ingredients together, the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, half cup of powdered sugar, and salt. This flour mixture we just made will be our homemade brownie mix. Make sure the brownie mix is well incorporated.
Now in a large mixing bowl add the eggs, half a cup of melted butter or cannabis oil, water, and vanilla extract and whisk together. Just sprinkle the brownie mix into the bowl with the eggs and combine.
The chocolate mixture with cocoa and chocolate chips is my favorite way to make brownies. this recipe calls for butter but I also like using canna coconut oil when making ganja brownies, the coconut oil adds a little hint of coconut to the chocolate brownies. check out my cannabis oil recipe here.
Now pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth out the top. Bake for about an hour, checking at around 45 minutes. Use a toothpick to check in the center of the brownies, the toothpick should come out clean maybe a few moist crumbs but not wet. It's always better to remove them from the oven just a bit early rather than to overcook them.
Once removed from the oven there will be a little bit of carry-over cooking before they cool down. Allow the brownies to completely cool before trying to cut them, this can take over an hour.
