Canadian rap artist Tory Lanez was temporarily detained at the Las Vegas airport after TSA agents uncovered a “large” amount of marijuana in one his bags, according to TMZ.
He had been attempting to board an early morning flight out on Sunday when they discovered cannabis inside and that is why he got pulled aside for questioning before being released later without charges!
In October 2020, the rapper was charged with shooting Megan Thee Stallion earlier this year in Hollywood Hills.
Last week, in a medical report obtained by Page Six revealed doctors found three major bullet fragments in Megan Thee Stallion's feet after she was shot at by Lanez following a dispute the two had in a vehicle. However; Megan initially refused to tell them and the police what had happened.
This incident has been going on since July 2020. Lanez aka Daystar Peterson faces one felony count each of assault w/semi automatic firearm & carrying loaded unregistered firearm within a vehicle.
He pleaded not guilty in November 2020 and denied the allegations.
The “Luv” singer faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison if convicted. The case is expected to go to trial in September.
