Massive Marijuana Bust: Clearlake Police Seize Thousands of Plants and Guns in Recent Raids

In just one week, the Clearlake Police Department conducted five search warrants in the City of Clearlake, targeting illegal marijuana operations. The results were staggering - a total of 3,650 marijuana plants and over 1,000 pounds of processed marijuana were taken off the streets.


But that's not all - officers also uncovered a cache of illegally owned firearms, including 12 guns and a whopping 6,450 rounds of ammunition. Clearly, this was a dangerous operation.


Not only were the plants being grown outdoors, but some were actually hidden inside residences. Shockingly, none of the properties had proper licenses for cultivation.



The crackdown didn't stop at the plants and weapons either. Four individuals were apprehended and are now facing charges related to illegal marijuana operations and firearms possession.


Rest assured, the Clearlake Police Department is dedicated to thwarting any further illegal commercial growing operations within the city.


We will not rest until the community is safe and protected.

It is alarming to note that none of the properties where these illegal marijuana operations were being conducted had proper licenses, further validating the need for stringent regulations and regulations to ensure public safety. Furthermore, the fact that several of these operations were being conducted inside residences adds an extra layer of concern.
