"Miraculously, no one was hurt in the incident" police said.

Kennesaw, Georgia - A driver under the influence of mushrooms shocked people by going airborne and crashing into a gas station in his white Cadillac.

Security camera video caught him flying into pump 2 of the gas station at 3870 Moon Station Road last Sunday just before 7 p.m.

When the officers arrived to find out what happened with this 2001 Cadillac Deville, they discovered that it didn't hit any cars but instead crashed near gas pumps.

The police approached the vehicle and found a young man in the parking lot. He told them he was driving, adding that someone must have been chasing him and trying to kill him. The young man couldn't provide a description of the person chasing him.

The man displayed "erratic behavior such as jittering movements and speaking incoherently at times." according to the police report. Police detained him, and patted him down to make sure he was not hurt. Miraculously no one in the area had any injuries.

When first responders medically cleared the man, he revealed that he had been "tripping" on psychedelic mushrooms and consumed six before driving.

The officers then took him to Kennestone Hospital for blood testing. The young man was charged with a DUI he also faces traffic infractions as well.
